Also possess Diploma in Management from IGNOU and Post Graduate Honours Diploma in System Management from NIIT (Calcutta). Holds Diploma in Human Resource Development and Diploma in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from Chennai.

Actively involved in Sports and captained School Cricket Team upto the District level. Bearing interest in art and culture and stood Third in All India Poetry Competition organized by All India Catholic University Federation. Also authored a book on collection of his poetry writing, titled "LAADO". Also an Executive Member of "Mukesh Lovers' Association".

Possess vast experience of 17 years in Company Law, SEBI and Capital Market. Was associated with pioneer business houses of Kolkata like Chitlangia, Bangur, Bhandari, Goenka and Lakhotia in executive capacities looking after various departments like Company Law, Secretarial, Legal, Income Tax, Banking & Finance, Accounts, HRD & Administration, etc.

At present running its own proprietorship firm of Company Secretaries under the name and style of “A. K. LABH & CO.” since last 13 years and is associated with number of business houses in private sector as well as few of the organizations in public sectors as Corporate Consultants.

Was also a member of Practitioners Advisory Committee (2005 & 2007),  Public Relation Committee (2008), Study Circle & Library Committee  and Information Technology Committee (2009), Information Technology Committee (2010) and Professioanl Development Committee (2011) of EIRC, ICSI.  Also a member of Calcutta Study Circle On Corporate Law & Allied Subjects. Also a regular faculty member of EIRC, ICSI.

Also appointed on the panel of arbitrators of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) & Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL). 

Was also is in the Board of Directors of M/s Jupiter International Limited as Independent Non-Executive Director (2010-2011)

Also associated with few of the NGOs like  "Help Age India", "Cry" and "UNICEF" as participative contributory. Also life-time meber of "Bidyapati Smarak Manch" and "Karnamrit".
